Ben Lomond is a mountain located in Queenstown named after Ben Lomond a mountain in the Scottish Highlands.
Frame Group was engaged by the Department of Conservation to upgrade 3.5km of the Ben Lomond Track between the track entranceway at the top of the Queenstown Lakes Gondola and the Ben Lomond Saddle.
Project features:
Re-shaping 2826m of existing track
Modifying the existing grade through cut/fill
Vegetation clearing and formation 158m of new track
Approximately 60m of timber boxed steps including landings
