Clevedon Scenic Reserve is approximately 100ha of native bush including Kauri, offering scenic views of the Hunua Ranges and Hauraki Gulf.
Frame Group has a great history working within Clevedon Scenic Reserve stretching back several years, including the design of the suspension bridge and flying fox in 2008, track upgrades in 2006 and the extension to the waterfall platforms in 2004.
Auckland Council engaged Frame Group to design, and project manage the upgrade of the Summit Loop Track.
Project features:
Re-surfacing 0.75m wide aggregate track with grade dips and edge boards, and installing new boxed step flights (Eastern Summit Track)
Re-surfacing 1.0m wide aggregate track with grade dips, culverts and edge boards; and installing new boxed step flights and cellular geoweb (Western Summit Track)
Installing new staircases and boardwalks, including installing new barriers/handrail on existing structures
